I’ve always approached weddings slowly, intentionally, and with as much care as possible.
When I look at my grandparents' wedding photos, what stands out isn’t the production value. It’s the warmth in their faces, the genuine emotion, and the contagious joy they shared. That is the feeling I want to preserve for your family.
Beyond the covenant you are creating together, there are moments throughout a wedding day that feel truly sacred. Your dad seeing you in your dress for the first time. Your mom straightening your boutonniere before you walk down the aisle. The run to the getaway car with your new spouse, laughing as the night comes to a close.
These are my favorite parts to capture on wedding days. The pure and authentic joy.
My approach to wedding photography is often described as "fly on the wall" photography, or more formally, documentary photography. Much like a fly on the wall, I observe wedding days as they naturally unfold. I rarely interrupt moments or ask people to recreate emotions for the camera. Instead, I create space for you to be fully present in your day.

For weddings with more than 100 guests, I often recommend adding a second photographer for a portion of the day.
A second photographer allows multiple moments to be documented simultaneously from different perspectives. While I'm photographing the bride walking down the aisle, they may be focused on the groom's reaction. While I'm capturing bridal party portraits, they can be documenting moments with the groom and his party.
Adding a second photographer is always optional, but I recommend it because it provides greater coverage without changing the documentary nature of my work. My goal is never to overwhelm your wedding day with cameras. Instead, a second photographer simply offers another perspective, helping preserve moments that might otherwise go unseen.
I happily travel for weddings.
For destination and travel weddings, airfare and a two-night hotel stay will be included in your custom quote.
If you are getting married in any of these places, I will shoot your wedding for free! You would only have to cover airfaire and hotel.
